Styles to Suit
 |
ROUND FACE
People with a round face will suit angular frames, especially ones with straight lines. This gives the face definition. Narrow frames will also prevent exaggerating the round shape of the face. Round or large frame shapes are less suitable as they will accentuate the round shape of the face.

SQUARE FACE
This face shape has a broad forehead, wide cheekbones and a strong jaw line, the width and length of the face are usually almost the same. To lengthen and soften the face you could try frames with more width than depth. A narrow, curved or oval shaped frame, or anything with rounded soft edges will suit people with a square face. Thin and rectangular frames should be avoided.

LONG FACE
Choose frame which cover as much of the centre of the face as possible, minimising the length of the face. Either round or square shaped frames with decoration on the temples, will add width.

TRIANGULAR FACE
Those individuals who have a wide forehead and a narrow chin or jaw line will suit frames that are thin, rimless or semi-rimless. To bring balance to this shaped face you may wish to try frames that are wider at the bottom. It can also help if you pick light coloured frames. Avoid large or square shaped frames.
